Principal / Senior Software Engineer

As a Principal or Senior Software Engineer you will use your knowledge of game programming’s various disciplines and intricacies to architect systems that will lay the foundation for our games.

Responsibilities

  • Architect systems for core and game codebases

  • Contribute to technical design, decision-making, and implementation

  • Be accountable for and hold others accountable for the quality of the codebase

  • Innovate to discover solutions to problems

  • Collaborate and iterate with cross-disciplinary teams at both design and implementation stages

  • Mentor and teach other engineers

  • Debug and polish tools and systems

  • Promote psychological safety with excellent listening skills

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years in Unreal

  • Proficient in C++

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Basic knowledge of Linear Algebra

  • Ability to consider cross-disciplinary requirements when architecting solutions

Desired Qualifications

  • Multiple shipped games

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4

  • Experience with multiple platforms

  • Experience with C#, Python, or shader languages

  • Profiling and optimization knowledge

  • Proficient in one or more of the following areas:

    • Graphics

    • Artificial Intelligence

    • Physics

    • Networking

    • User Interface

    • Scalable Server Systems
